Insurers

Insurers the office works with

I work with thirteen insurers. What your policy covers, and what you pay, we review in consultation before scheduling. If you have no insurance, the quote is still delivered in writing, with its validity period.

The thirteen insurers

  • Allianz

  • GNP
  • Inbursa
  • Mapfre

  • Seguros Monterrey
  • BUPA
  • Zurich
  • BX+
  • Prevem Seguros

How it works with insurance

  1. Say so when you book. Tell us which insurer holds your policy; if it is on the list, the office starts the review.
  2. Bring the policy. With the policy number and your identification, coverage for the procedure is checked.
  3. Review before scheduling. We clarify what the policy covers and what you pay (deductible, coinsurance and anything left out). I explain it in writing.
  4. Scheduling. Once coverage is confirmed, surgery is scheduled at the hospital. If something changes during the process, it is communicated before going ahead.

If your insurer is not on the list

Write anyway. Some policies allow you to be treated privately and claim reimbursement afterwards; the office tells you which documents you need for that process. What the policy reimburses depends on its terms.

If you pay privately

You receive the quote in writing, with what it includes, what is left out and what can change it, with its validity period. The details are in how fees are set.

Care in English

I was born in Cozumel and see patients in Spanish and in English. If your policy is international or you are coming from abroad, the consultation, instructions and follow-up can be done in English.
