01Acceptance

Browsing, downloading or using any section implies acceptance of these terms. The authentic text is Spanish. Contact for the site: WhatsApp 998 550 0002 and phone 998 550 0002. There is no public email.

02What this site is

It informs about Dr. Vázquez’s practice — gallbladder, inguinal hernia and appendicitis surgery —, the office location, the licenses and the way to request a consultation. It is not an electronic record, not telemedicine, not an electronic prescription and not an emergency service. No guaranteed results are offered and the in-person medical act is not replaced.

03Browsing does not open a record

Consulting the site, sending a WhatsApp or calling for information does not, by itself, constitute a physician–patient relationship, a diagnosis, a prescription or acceptance of a case. That relationship arises, if at all, with clinical care: history, examination and the corresponding documents. Until then there is no duty of follow-up or of immediate reply.

04The content is not a medical indication

Reference figures, return-to-work periods, descriptions of technique and frequently asked questions are general information, based on usual practice, and may not apply to your case. They are not advertising of a guaranteed result or a personalized indication. They are not for self-medication, self-diagnosis or for deciding or delaying a surgery.

05WhatsApp and the phone are not the record

WhatsApp and the office phone are not channels for teleconsultation, interpretation of studies, emergency indication or prescriptions. Nothing written there replaces notes, consents or the record required by NOM-004-SSA3-2012. The office record is distinct from Hospital Galenia’s or Hospital Azura’s.

06Emergencies

In the event of intense pain, fever, persistent vomiting, signs of an acute abdomen, bleeding, sudden jaundice or any other emergency — real or perceived — go immediately to the nearest emergency department or call 911. Do not wait for a reply from the office. 998 550 0002 and WhatsApp 998 550 0002 are not twenty-four-hour emergency lines. Hospital Galenia and Hospital Azura have their own services; contacting them does not mean Dr. Vázquez is on call.

07Appointments

Asking for an appointment by WhatsApp or phone is a scheduling request, subject to availability and confirmation. Identification and contact data must be accurate. The office may reschedule for clinical or hospital reasons. Any template form that appears in the site footer is not an operational channel; the scheduling channel is WhatsApp or the office phone.

08Fees, quotes and insurance

Any published figure is indicative and describes a concrete scenario; it is not an irrevocable offer. The definitive quote is delivered in writing at the consultation, with its validity period, and may vary because of conversion to open surgery, additional hospital stay, findings during the procedure or the actual scope of your policy.

That the office works with Allianz, AXA, GNP, Inbursa, Mapfre, MetLife, Seguros Atlas, Seguros Monterrey, BUPA, Zurich, BX+, Prevem Seguros y Pan American Life does not guarantee authorization or payment. That relationship is between you and your insurer. The site is not a payment gateway.

09Minors

Use of the site by minors is understood through the person who holds parental authority or guardianship. Procedures are not booked in a minor’s name without that representation. These terms do not replace clinical informed consent.

10Patients from other states or from abroad

If you come from another city or from abroad, Mexican law applies. Travel, visa, a companion and going to local emergency services if you become ill before or after the visit are your responsibility. In consultation care is also given in English; these terms are interpreted in Spanish.

11Intellectual property and lawful use

Texts, structure, logo and photographs belong to the owner or are used under licence. Copying them for commercial purposes or to simulate an ungranted clinical endorsement is prohibited. Licenses are shown for verification in the National Professional Registry. Malware is not introduced, the site is not scraped at scale and identity is not impersonated on WhatsApp or the phone.

12Third-party links

Hyperlinks to maps, hospitals, insurers or the National Professional Registry are for convenience. The owner does not control those policies or their availability.

13Accuracy and results

Accurate information on affiliation, insurers and licenses is sought. Hours and coverage may change; what is confirmed in the office prevails. Nothing on the site is a guarantee of a surgical result. Complications, conversion and biological variability are inherent to the medical act and are explained in informed consent.

14Liability

To the extent Mexican law allows, the owner is not liable for damage arising from using the content as if it were a medical indication; from delay or failure to read WhatsApp or the phone; from network, WhatsApp or hosting failures; from acts of Hospital Galenia, Hospital Azura, insurers, laboratories or anesthesiologists as independent controllers; or from the decision not to go to an emergency department.

This limitation does not exclude the professional liability that arises from a medical act actually provided, which is governed by the General Health Law, the applicable official standards and civil and criminal legislation. For consumer disputes relating only to use of the site — not the medical act — the avenues provided by consumer-protection law may be used.

15Prohibited conduct

It is prohibited to use the site or the contact channels for harassment, deceptive collection of third-party data, third-party advertising or to transmit another person’s clinical information without standing. The owner may block numbers or interrupt digital communication, without denying the emergency care that must be provided in a hospital.

16Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States and, locally, those of Quintana Roo. For disputes about use of the site — not about the hospital medical act — the competent courts of Cancún, Quintana Roo, are submitted to. If a clause is declared void, the rest remains.

They may be updated by publication on this page, with a date of entry into force. Later use constitutes acceptance. Changes that affect personal data are also governed by the privacy notice.
